US-based Dolat Ventures is planning to expand its diamonds operations at the Baimbawai Pool in the Sewa River, located in Sierra Leone, West Africa.
Initial drilling and exploration by the company has indicated the presence of gold, tantalum and niobium in the properties.
Dolat Ventures CEO Dovid Hauck said the mined diamonds are sold in Sierra Leone and around the world.
"With the continued increase in rough diamond prices, we believe this is the time to expand our mining operations," Hauck said.
