India’s Binani Cement said it hopes to acquire an Indonesian coal mine within the next three months.
Binani has a current installed capacity of six million tonnes and requires an extra 600,000 to 700,000t of coal to feed its plants, according to business-standard.com.
The company said it was looking to acquire a coal mine to meet 70% to 80% of its total coal demand for the next ten to 20 years.
